Julie Francis – Principal, BellaVia Research

Julie Francis has a track record of helping clients uncover the strategic insights they need to make informed business decisions.  With 15+ years of experience designing and executing quantitative and qualitative projects, she is uniquely positioned to craft the best qualitative research program to meet client research objectives.
Julie is a skilled moderator across a range of traditional and innovative methodologies, in both group and one-on-one settings. She has experience tapping into the motivations and beliefs of diverse populations, including business-to-business, executive, consumer, and young adult participants. 
  
For website and other usability projects, Julie’s background in customer experience strategy and website interface design uniquely qualifies her to uncover both strategic and tactical usability issues, always with an eye on the overall business strategy. 
 
Prior to launching BellaVia Research, Julie worked with Creative Good in New York City and San Francisco.  Julie was one of the first employees of Socratic Technologies in San Francisco, and learned to moderate during her time at Audits and Surveys Worldwide.  Julie holds a BA from Wesleyan University and moderator training certificates from the RIVA Institute.  She resides in Northern California with her husband and two young daughters.
